Make their day by you taking action to make others feel good about him/herself.

• Be available to listen/help students

• Give authentic feedback that makes people feel special
• Make thank you videos for stakeholders
• Visit with staff for a minute in the morning to say "hi". It's good to see all staff beforehand
• Buy my mother imitation crab meat, if she eats it with seal oil
• Say thank you and encourage good work
• Ask if others need help
• Make myself available to stakeholders
• Send emails to encourage them
• Tell a joke - praise - make a card
• Write a letter
• Specific positive comments and quality feedback

There is always a choice about the way you do your work, even if there is not a choice about the work itself.

• Be happy no matter what
• Don't get caught in the rut
• Be positive and smile
• Don't get down
• Smile at all costs
• Smile at least every half hour
• Be more positive in staff meetings
• Spread the positive attitude
• Be pleasant
• See the positive/bright side of things
• Always be nice to everyone
• Get up each day with a positive attitude - knowing it has new possibilities

• Pray for a happy heart daily
